A big congratulations and job well done goes out to our Blessed Bots HTCS Robotics Team and Mrs. Jarzynka, their coach! They had an outstanding performance at the North Texas Regional Championship where they brought home two awards:
Championship Peer Award celebrating a team nominated by their peers at the competition for their expression of the First Lego League Core Values and Gracious Professionalism
1st Place Robot Design Award Trophy for using outstanding programming principles and solid engineering practices to develop a robot that is mechanically sound, durable, efficient, and highly capable of performing challenge missions
They were invited to compete in the State Tournament, where they had a fantastic day of competition and celebration. Although they didn't bring home any team awards at State, Mrs. Jarzynka received the Coach/Mentor Award, which is presented to the coach or mentor whose leadership and guidance is clearly evident and best exemplifies the FIRST Core Values and Gracious Professionalism! She was nominated by Elizabeth M. on behalf of the entire Blessed Bots Team!
Way to go Mrs. Jarzynka and the entire HTCS Robotics Team!! You make us so proud!
