We take a balanced approach that focuses on the classical model of education and combines it with the use of current technology to support instruction and prepare students for the modern world. Our students are also challenged and uplifted by the numerous fine art, foreign language, physical education, and other classroom extensions available to them.
Each classroom is equipped with Smartboard (touch screen) technology, which is periodically used for instruction. Technology skills are taught to all students to allow them opportunities to incorporate these capabilities into other areas of the curriculum. All students receive instruction in the areas of word processing, spreadsheets, publishing, typing skills and proper use of Internet resources. Our students are given opportunities to demonstrate mastery of these skills through other areas of the curriculum.
At Holy Trinity Catholic School, we leverage technology to foster creativity, innovation, communication, collaboration, critical thinking and problem solving.
Holy Trinity students have the incredible opportunity to study and learn beyond their normal classroom through a wide list of specials and elective classes offered to enhance the classical curriculum. These options are dependent on grade level, but demonstrate our approach to educate the whole child. They include:
Spanish
Latin
Art
Music
Choir
Band
Physical Education
Computer Lab
Library
Nature Studies
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Yearbook
An important part of a child’s education is taking advantage of learning opportunities in the community through field trips. Typically each grade will have two field trips a year.
Similarly, depending on grade, our students participate in a Reading Buddies mentorship program, visits to our parish preschools, and periodic trips to first friday Mass at one of our parishes.
